The Space Voyagers - Journey to Woodpile
Story synopsis;
Date; June 21st 2162. The ship departs Wolf Prime for the music festival site code named Woodpile. Essex has been assigned to transport various bands from Star Republic planets to this vitally important jam fest. Each member planet send their representatives to Woodpile to perform and show that their planet rocks the most. This of course helps with tourism. So this event is very high priority within the Star Republic. Tensions between the various band delegations aboard are high as the pressure to perform well is on everyone's mind. Add to that a special election has been called for by the Star Senate to vote on a proposition that would require internet music download sites to pay royalties to the people who actually wrote the music.
A new First Officer embarks at Wolf Prime along with the last band delegation to be picked up. Commander Beanne was requested by Captain Hunt after Commander McGroin requested to be assigned to Cattah... Um Sirius Prime as the military liaison.
